Description

PIP is a grant-making organization that believes in giving a "hand up" rather than a "hand out" to communty-based development associations in Haiti that have strong, visionary leadership, but lack the resources needed to realize their vision of community development. PIP focuses on infrastructure (water, energy, communications), small business development, agro-forestry, health care, and education and attempts to concentrate resources - technical, material, and financial - where they can have a strong, positive impact.
