Mission Statement
We operate on an area open to the Kruger National Park, which is extremely underdeveloped, wild and vast. Animals feeding, breeding and migratory patterns have to be researched and monitored in order to help us fight the animal wildlife conflict in the area.
The communitites which exist between Letaba Ranch and the Kruger NP are referred to as "buffer zone" communities, as they are a barrier between these two zones, and therefore conflicts arise. We aim to educate these communities, to help them towards a self sustainable future in a region where they depend on wildife and agriculture.
We research on animals behaviour and work with wildlife vets to help orphaned and injured animals.
Description
Eco Reach is a Non Profit organisation, which was created by a group of people formt he area, which care aboutht he issues they are facing daily.
With not many means to reach a volunteer market they rely on support from Out in Africa who operate safaris in the area, to help bring in volunteers and uplift this area.
A collaboration was formed, and we aim to support eachother to work towards something meaningful and valuable.
