Mission Statement

The Learning Lamp is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing the support all children need to succeed in school. Our programs include tutoring, afterschool programs, preschool, childcare and summer camps. Programs are offered on a sliding scale basis so they are affordable for all families. We also partner with libraries, churches, schools and community-based organizations to deliver our programs in small and rural communities throughout our service area.

Description

The Learning Lamp's tutoring, afterschool, preschool, childcare and summer camps programs are academic in nature and focus on providing students with the skill base they need to succeed in school. Our certfied teachers work in partnership with classroom teachers to ensure each child has the support they need to enhance classroom performance and build confidence.
