The V Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to saving lives by helping to find cures for cancer. The V Foundation seeks to make a difference by generating broad-based support for cancer research and by creating an urgent awareness among all people of the importance of the fight against cancer. The Foundation performs these roles through advocacy, education, fundraising, and philanthropy.

Description

The V Foundation Wine Celebration is a world-class wine event and auction benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research. Set in Napa Valley, the heart of California Wine Country, this special event brings together people from the finance, technology, sports, entertainment and winemaking worlds to raise money for the fight against cancer.

Dedicated to giving back to the generous Napa Valley and surrounding communities that have enthusiastically embraced it, the V Wine Celebration has funded over 40 promising research programs at medical and research facilities including the Martin O’Neil Cancer Center at St. Helena Hospital, Napa’s Queen of the Valley Wellness Center, Stanford University, UC Davis and UC San Francisco. Founded in 1999, the V Wine Celebration has grown to one of the top-rated charity wine auction events in the country. Guided by a dedicated volunteer board, and committed staff, the three-day signature fundraiser has raised over $60 million since that first event in 1999.
