Description

The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc., is a non-profit organization that solicits and collects surplus and salvageable foods and grocery products from retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers and the local community.

The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, Inc., controls the quality of donated food stored in its warehouse and distributes the food to local agencies. These agencies are food pantries in churches, homeless shelters and soup kitchens. They provide hot meals and / or boxed foods for home preparation.
