This review is not based off a volunteer opinion, but rather as a recipient of their services, or lack there of. As a victim of domestic violence, the police had given me a list of local services that serve the local community in situations such as mine. The office seems to be both critically understaffed and in no rush to return serious inquiries. I had to leave two messages and make a third call over a period of a month before anyone returned my call. Luckily, in my case I had other support, but for those who are in a desperate situation this is not the place to seek help. After a long game of phone tag I was told that there is only one support group, once a week to which I could not even attend due to scheduling conflicts. It is clear that they lack the personnel, training and funds to allow this organization to be of any real help to the community.
