I Am O'KAH! Inc, was founded in May 2011 and is a non-profit tax-exempt organization recognized under IRS tax code section 501(c)(3). The organization was named after Kahdine Ann DaCosta, a native New Yorker that transplanted to Baltimore, MD in 1997 to attend Morgan State University. As an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s Alpha Delta chapter, Kahdine served her community and the local Baltimore city school system.
