Mission Statement

1. Scholarship grants to young people educated in Englewood, FL to enable them to attend an institution of higher learning beyond high school.

2. Development of a 6 acre parcel of waterfront land located anong the Beach Road causeway fronting on Lemon Bay in Englewood, FL as the Cora Stroh Environmental Youth Park. Its purpose is to develop and promote educational, charitable and philanthropic uses for young people at this environmental park.

Description

1. Annual scholarship administration, including interviewing grant applicants, monitoring grant recipients' academic compliance with grant conditions and coordination of grant procedures with established universities and other institutions of higher learning.

2. Ownership and administration of environmental youth park providing local youth organizations [boy & girl scouts, YMCA & 4-H] educational field trips for plant identification, small local marine animals and birds and water safety.
