Mission Statement

To give underprivileged children what we take for granted -- a home, safety, education, food, clothing, toys, a sense of belonging, empowerment, healthcare, most importantly love.

Description

Christalis is a group of diverse volunteers of all ages ranging from elementary school to retirement. Together we are working to aid children who are orphaned, poor, exploited, starving, in danger, and simply lack basic needs.

We currently have four pilot projects. Three are in Kasese, Uganda and one is Maryland, USA .

In Uganda:

1. Christalis Home - a home for more than 30 children who have no support

2. Meal Program - provides two free meals to impoverished children in the local community of Uganda surrounding our Home.

3. Assistance Program - provide tuition, school supplies, uniforms, books, shoes, clothing, healthcare, bedding and other basic needs.

In Maryland:

1. Lily's Gifts - provides gifts to those who may often be forgotten during the holidays
