Ashoka's Youth Venture- New England Region

Description

Youth Venture encourages youth to identify a need in their community, develop an idea for a solution by applying their interests and skills, and then carry out that solution through their Venture. A Venture must be a new club, service, or organization; provide a positive, lasting community benefit; be created, run, and managed by a Team of at least two youth ages 12-20; have clear goals, a committed team, a realistic budget; and, have a non-controlling adult mentor. Each Team receives up to $1,000 in seed funding to launch their Venture.
