A-B Tech students can be the traditional-type student coming to us right out of high school or non-traditional students who find themselves displaced from the workforce, looking for a better education and skill to compete in today's workforce, or those beginning their college education with dreams of transferring to a four-year educational institution.

The spacious campus and it's buildings - some historical in nature - mimics a true college atmosphere. It hosts many opportunities for students and its volunteer services program assures staff, faculty and our students find the support they need in order for every student to reach his/her goals.

The volunteers' role in A-B Tech's Mission begins with a personal interview and individual orientation. Placement in service to a department or program on campus is guided by the volunteer's interest, skills, career, talents and departmental needs.

Station supervisors take over training the volunteer when they are assigned by the coordinator of volunteer/intern services.
