The Animal Sanctuary

The charitable purpose of Friends for Animals Sanctuary, Inc., DBA The Animal Sanctuary is to provide a no-kill sanctuary providing humane care and treatment of domestic animals (dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc.) needing protection in the area served by this sanctuary; to rescue animals that are lost or in danger; to rehabilitate injured and abused animals so that they can be adopted into forever homes; to educate the community on responsible pet ownership, to promote spay/neuter programs and to help animals get adopted into forever homes.

We have been in operation since 2011. We have provided services to the community through a rescue/foster/adoption program as our volunteer foster base has allowed, and our pet assistance program including TNR feral cats, spaying and neutering found animals and animals that we rescue, rehabilitating animals we have rescued through obedience training and medical care. Our Thrift Shoppe has been in operation since 2012 and we accept donated items that we sell in our Shoppe with all profits going toward building our Sanctuary and funding our rescue operations.
