HFHNC works collaboratively, rather than independently, with NC affiliates to share best practices, resources, leadership development, and more. The state office serves as one point of contact for community partners that wish to work across a region or across the state.

State Support Organization activities are geared to the needs of affiliates in each individual state. For example, HFHNC coordinates the disaster response preparation statewide as well as the response plan.
