Description

Mystic Area Shelter and Hospitality, Inc. (MASH) is in its 7 year of providing shelter to homeless families in Southeastern Connecticut. From December 1999 to September 2006, MASH, a non-profit 501 (C) (3) community partnership serving the towns of Groton, Stonington, N. Stonington, Ledyard and Westerly has sheltered 68 families and made a difference in the lives of 131 children. MASH offers supportive, temporary shelter in furnished apartments to families with children for 30-90 days with case management services (job search, child care, transportation, housing et al) provided by the four cooperating townships.
