Pinebrook Family Answers Compeer Program

Description

Compeer matches volunteers from the community with members in need of friendship. Our volunteers spend four hours a month with a member who is in stable mental health recovery engaging in activities they both enjoy. Our matches will simply go for a walk or out for a cup of coffee but these activities make a huge impact on our members lives. Volunteering with us helps our members feel less lonely and isolated.

Compeer has also added a similar service for veterans. It's called CompeerCorps. If you know a veteran in need of a friendship or a veteran who is interested in volunteering with other veterans, we are waiting to hear from them.
