Our Mission: To restore the Huff Run Watershed by improving water quality and enhancing wildlife habitat, through community support and involvement.

Description

The HRWRP is a group of dedicate citizens working to restore the Huff Run to its original, clean state. Huff Run's six water quality issues include acid mine drainage (produced by the abandoned coal mines in the area), illegal dumping, raw sewage entering the stream, broken streamside vegetative buffers, oil and gas extraction impacts and agricultural impacts. Monthly meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 at the Huff Run office.
