We save Shih Tzu from horrible conditions such as High Kill Shelters, Puppy Mills, Hoarding cases, Breeders and owner releases. We love them, vet them, teach them and rehome them.
SASS Rescue is a group of individuals that rescue Shih Tzu from a variety of situations all over the country such as high kill shelters to owner surrenders. We love and care for them in our own homes until a suitable pe rmanent home is found. By having the dogs in our homes it enables us to better help you select the right dog for your family. Our goal is that our dogs will be in a loving home for the rest of their lives.

SASS Rescue is run strictly on adoption donations and the generosity of our supporters......We receive no government funding to save these dogs. We will not turn a dog away due the expense of treatment or location we will figure out transportation to get the dog to us and come up with a way to pay for treatment. Our belief is every dog should have a chance at a happy, loving life.
