Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide hospice care to patients with a limited life expectancy and emotional support to their families. At Regency Hospice, our patients and their loved ones are our top priority. Our focus is on palliative care, the relief of pain and suffering when curative treatment becomes ineffective, and improving the quality of life of our patients and their loved ones to maximize the time they have together.

Description

Regency Hospice is seeking qualified applicants to help fill and maintain our volunteer program. Duties for volunteers include various forms of assistance and comfort. For example: A volunteer might provide quality time with our patients by providing interaction through conversation, reading a book, writing a letter, or holding one's hand. A volunteer might provide assistance to the family in running errands or house chores. There may also be a need for volunteers assisting with office duties, i.e., light clerical. Volunteers are asked to provide a minimum of 2 hours of service per month. Training is provided.
