Girls Incorporated of greater Houston is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization and was formed in 1996 to meet the needs of girls and young women between the ages of 6-18 in the greater Houston area. We offer educational programs developed in consultation with leading national experts to give girls the tools to overcome the hurdles they face, develop their leadership skills, and build their self-esteem. These innovative programs--offered through schools, community centers and other partners--help build girls' capacity to acheive their maximum potential for confident and responsible adulthood, economic independence and personal fulfillment.
