Golden Steps Youth & Families Foundation was established as a public charity in April 2006. The organization's founder and board members are dedicated to its mission. Golden Steps Youth & Families Foundation describes at-risk youth as those children between the ages of 7 to 17 that are at-risk of failing in school, incarceration, or being sucked in to the street life. We offer a platform for artistic expression through performing arts programs such as dance competitions, talent shows, and spoken word. We offer opportunities for learning beyond the classroom so that high school students will become better prepared for life after school. Our career development and entrepreneurship programs support this effort.
