The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

Description

Salvation Army is a non profit organization that was founded by General William Booth in 1852. We use a military style to be soldiers in God's army. Our organization has been in existance for so long through the grace of God and donations and volunteers willing to help out where they can.

This organization actually follows through with their mission statement. And you cannot go wrong when it comes to sharing God's love, and the truth of Jesus. Obviously the proof is in the number of years it has been successful. They are there after the Red Cross leaves and all the camera's leave providing aid and comfort.
