Mission Statement
The Banneker Extended Enrichment (BEE) Program is committed to the creation of opportunities for our students to explore, to grow, and to excel academically, socially and personally in a safe and supportive environment as they learn about themselves and their community. And the BEE Program is a part of the Benjamin Banneker Charter Public school with the overall mission: The Benjamin Banneker Charter Public School is an urban K-6 Science and Technology school, committed to excellence in education. We believe all students can excel as learners and citizens when provided a rich, supportive and stimulating environment. The BBCS is the inspiration of concerned community leaders, parents, and educators with the common vision and purpose of providing all Cambridge and local youth, regardless of race, culture, language, or socioeconomic status, with a high quality education.
Description
The BEE program is an after school program (3-6 p.m.) for our K-6 students to receive homework and tutoring help, snack, and many various activities throughout the school year.
