Soroptimist is an international service organization established in 1921. The heart of Soroptimist's mission is to make a difference for women and girls through volunteer service to the community.
Soroptimist International strives to be a global voice for women through awareness, advocacy and action. The organization is committed to serving local, national, and international communities, and participating actively in decision-making at all levels of society.
Soroptimists are women of all ages, cultures and ethnic groups. They are working moms, single women, small business owners and corporate executives as well as teachers, attorneys and physicians. Soroptimists are leaders across all professional disciplines who also serve as role models for younger women at the beginning of their careers. The common thread that connects all Soroptimists is their desire to make a difference for others through volunteer service.
