Mission Statement

Chanticleer'An Orchestra of Voices' is a non-profit GRAMMY Award-winning male vocal ensemble that performs a diverse and innovative repertoire, reaching audiences worldwide through live concerts, recording, education and commissioning new choral works from an ever-growing list of important composers.

Description

The ensemble tours throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Asia, performing over 80 concerts a year. In addition to touring, Chanticleer offers a 30-concert Bay Area season encompassing the ever-popular Christmas concert along with three other concert programs.

Chanticleer brings the gift of singing to young people by conducting artist-in-the-schools residencies and Chanticleer Youth Choral Festivals. In addition to extensive Bay Area educational activities, the ensemble conducts master classes while on tour, and conducts three to five Chanticleer Youth Choral Festivals in various cities throughout the country.
