Mission Statement

OurSpace World, Inc. (DBA OurSpace Acupuncture) is a Maryland non-profit dedicated to building sustainable, affordable communities centered around total healthcare and wellness. Since November of 2011, it has operated a thriving community acupuncture clinic in downtown Silver Spring. The goal at OurSpace Acupuncture is to make available to everyone healing and healthcare that is safe, accessible, affordable, effective, and drug-free.

Description

Community Acupuncture, or group acupuncture, is the healing power of acupuncture done in a group setting. It allows people to experience the medicine without cost being a limiting factor; it also helps people to realize we are all in this thing together, dealing with similar struggles and navigating common challenges in life and in health.

At OurSpace Acupuncture, we provide acupuncture treatments in a comfortable, relaxed environment, and ask our clients to give any amount between $15 - $40 per treatment, no questions asked. In our community setting, multiple people relax in comfortable reclining chairs and receive acupuncture pins to help aid the healing of ailments.
