Mission Statement

Provide a safe, therapeutic based interactive, intervention and educational program for both parents and children where the parents are living separately as a result of divorce or end of a relationship. Parenting and communication skills specific to such situations are provided. Children are taught communication skills, provided unbiased relevant information and are empowered to better cope with the separation.

Description

A seven week program held on Saturday mornings at Chapman University in the City of Orange three times per year, serving approximatey 100 families, over 200 parents and over 200 children each year.

There are 4 parent groups and 7 children's groups operating simultaneously lead by specially trained mental health professionals and attorneys.

The program is not therapy and not legal advice. It is therapeutic, informative, empowering and practical.
