Since St Jude opened 1962, it has treated about19,000 children from all 50 states and 60 forgein countries Its is the first institution established for the sole purpose of cunducting basic and clinical research into catastrophic childhood disease,mainly cancer. St Jude is the largest childhood cancer research center in the world in term of the number of patients enrolled in research protocols and successfully treated.

Description

During the past five years, 86.7 percent of every dollar received by St Jude has gone to the current or future needs of St JudeSt Jude researchers and doctors are treating children with genetic immune defects and pediatric AID, as well as using new drugs and therapies to fight infections.
