Description

Community Initiatives for Children provides focused, culturally appropriate services that increase the capacity of low income families in Minneapolis. Through our Literacy Initiative for Family Education, parents are empowered to prepare their children for academic success. The components of CIC-LIFE are: HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters), RIF (Reading Is Fundamental), Library-On-Wheels, Childhood Connections, and STEP (Summer Transition to Elementary Programs).

It was a very well organized event. It was a joy to spend some time with kids and their families!
