The mission of Easter Seals Greater Hartford Rehabilitation Center is to provide comprehensive medical and vocational services to people with multiple, complex, and/or chronic disabilities in order to maximize their independence and self-sufficiency. We believe that all people have a desire and right to live in dignity and to be responsible for their own welfare and destiny.
The basic purpose of Easter Seals Capital Region & Eastern Connecticut is helping people with disabilities to live in dignity and to be responsible for their own welfare and destiny. The Center provides programs and services which improve the functional aspects of their lives, which create a climate of acceptance in the community, and which enable them to maintain their rights as participating members of society. The Center serves approximately 1,500 persons each year through its medical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and outreach programs. With accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, the Center provides services to both children and adults. #CHC
