Mission Statement

The Des Plaines Lions Club is committed to serving the blind and hearing impaired on an international, national, state wide, and local level. We also serve our community locally through our donations to local charities.

Description

The Des Plaines LIons Club was chartered in 1924 and is one of the oldest Lions Clubs in suburban Chicago. We meet for dinner on the first and third Thursdays of the month, except in the summer when we don't meet. Our meetings our held at the Des Plaines Elks Lodge on Lee St. in Des Plaines. Our meetings start at 6:00 PM with cocktails, followed by dinner at 6:30 PM.
