Mission Statement

The goal of Fifty Plus is to involve senior citizens in new communications technology such as video production, editing and distribution via cable TV, and now, through the Internet. We aim to educate and entertain senior citizens and others. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and need not have great technical expertise.

Description

Right now our focus is on planning, producing, distributing and promoting a number of video series over the Internet. Please visit Google Video and tap in veterans memorial archive to begin to see the videos of our Fifty Plus production company.There are three series in production. More are planned.

  1. vetarchive - video clips from some of our 550 interviews with WWII, Korea & VietNam vets.
  2. fiftyplus -Some of the 350 episodes from our NYC Cable TV series. New episodes will be produced here in Sarasota, Florida.
  3. icollege - Excerpts and complete academic lectures from various senior academies.
  4. ipoet - Performance poetry.
