Mission Statement
To provide material and emotional support to families in need through our school supply and holiday gift programs, while assisting youth to achieve a positive self image through our mentoring and work skills opportunities.
Description
Empowering parents, serving children. Established in 1923, Christmas Unlimited is one of the region's oldest charities. Christmas Unlimited serves families in need in the Pikes Peak region through its Operation Back to School school supply distribution program in the summer, holiday toy distribution program in December and other programs throughout the year. In 2018, we assisted over 2,500 families and 8,756 children with our programs in 2018. 200+ volunteers contributed over 9,800 hours of service to Christmas Unlimited.
Toy Distribution Program
During the holiday season, Christmas Unlimited collects and distributes toys to the families in need in a store-like environment, empowering parents to select gifts for their children. What sets Christmas Unlimited apart from similar programs is its method of gift distribution. The Christmas Unlimited Distribution Center is set-up like a retail store allowing parents to select what they want for their children and empowers them to be the most important part of the process.
Operation Back to SchoolOperation Back to School provides basic school supplies to families in need, giving their children an opportunity for success based on ability rather than economic advantage. In 2019, Christmas Unlimited plans to provide school supplies for up to 1,000 children.
