Description
Since its creation as the Dallas Committee for Foreign Visitors, an all-volunteer organization, over 50 years ago, the North Texas Council for International Visitors has cooperated with the International Visitor Leadership Program of the United States Department of State. Thousands of people from throughout the world in all walks of life have visited Dallas and surrounding North Texas communities under this program. They have been guests in our museums, businesses, offices, homes. Friendships have been forged that span the globe. We have provided professional appointments, transportation, sightseeing, learning opportunities, and plain ol' Texas hospitality. The NTCIV makes international friends by showcasing the best North Texas has to offer.
