Mission Statement

Morgantown Hospice is a program designed to help meet the physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs of the terminally ill during the final phase of their illness. Services are provided without regard to the family's ability to pay. Our philosophy is that people should have the opportunity to live their final days with dignity and as fully and comfortably as possible.

Description

An interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, therapists and volunteers provides care to relieve symptoms of pain and of physical, emotional and spiritual distress. Care is provided in patients' homes and in long term care facilities. Support is provided to the family both during and after the patient's illness.
