Founded in 1972 as a model for non-profit community health care clinics, Women's Clinic & Family Counseling Center is a dual service provider - offering low cost, reproductive health care and psychological counseling all under the same roof.
Our Medical Services
Women's Clinic & Family Counseling Center offers a range of services designed to treat women, men and teens. We provide basic reproductive health care services and all follow up procedures.
Our medical services are provided by certified and licensed Nurse Practitioners, a Registered UltraSound Technician, a Certified Nurse Midwife, and Physicians.
Our staff of medical professionals provides the following healthcare services: Annual Exams (Clinical Breast Exam & Pap Smear), Lab/Blood Work Ups, Birth Control/Family Planning, Pregnancy Testing, Emergency Contraception, Abnormal Pap Smear Follow Ups of Colposcopy & LEEP, Mamograms, Ultrasounds, STD Testing & Treatment, HIV Testing, Urinary Tract (Bladder) Infection Treatment, Vaginal Infection Treatment, Peri-Menopausal Evaluation & Treatment, & Hormone Replacement Therapy (including bio-identical hormones).
Our Counseling Services
Our Counseling Program is designed to meet the needs of women, men, couples, adolescents and families struggling with a variety of issues.
Our program is staffed by Intern and Trainee Therapists skilled in a variety of therapeutic approaches who are supervised by licensed psychotherapists. Our therapists are culturally sensitve and LGBT affirmative. We match each client with a therapist based on the client's specific needs.
We provide individual, couple, family and group therapy. Most often our counseling clients are struggling with such issues as: Depression, Anxiety/Panic Attacks, Relationship Concerns, Sexuality, Parenting Challenges, Trauma/Abuse Recovery, Addiction/Recovery, Chronic Illness, Life Transitions/Career Issues, Grief & Loss.
