Community Members Interested - Committed Nepal

Description

We help local governments to prepare community plans and implement projects identified in the plan. Typically projects that are included in the Plan for implementation are schools, libraries, community centers, health centers, public facilities, transit services, economic programs, historic preservation, environmental protection, and property development.

Our primary activities are:

• Formulating Community Plans
• Implementing Plans
• Training, Transferring & Monitoring

Nepal is currently affected by the ongoing war and local governments are absent. As a result, community planning is a few years away until fully functioning local governments are in place. In the mean time, we will carry out independent projects that can have immediate impact in Nepali communities. These projects are of varying degrees in terms of purpose and financial requirements. We are currently implementing projects in the education sector and other community improvements. Our ongoing project is rehabilitating the first girls' school of Nepal.
