I am sure this organization does a lot of good for others. However, as a volunteer I was quite disappointed. I registered to volunteer for a specific day and confirmed with the coordinator. He asked for my number in case there was a change in schedule. When I arrived at the office I was told that I wasn't needed. The work was already done. Yep. Drove all the way to the center for nothing. If you decide to volunteer with this organization be sure to get confirmation right before you leave. Not a day before or the night before, but the day of or you may find yourself wasting time and gas.
