Mission Statement

Sun Dragon's mission is to end violence in our families and community through empowerment-based self defense training and karate classes.

Description

We are a small, women-led nonprofit with a 25-year history in South Austin. In addition to teaching karate, we offer free and low-cost practical self-defense trainings on a range of subjects - including boundary-setting, bullying prevention, de-escalation, conflict resolution, and physical and verbal strategies - for adults and youth throughout Austin.
