Providing friendship, dignity, and opportunity to the homeless community to encourage lifting oneself off the streets permanently.

Description

We are a wood shop in south Austin at Congress and Ben White. We have 6-7 woodworkers in our program at any one time. We are a faith-based organization and encourage healthy community and relationships among our workers as they learn and create products to sell. It is an opportunity not only for positive friendships and encouragement for them but also the opportunity to create, earn supplementary income, and become comfortable in a job-like atmosphere.
