Description
Big Brothers Big Sisters Houston is a donor-supported volunteer organization that places caring adults in the lives of children through 1-to-1 mentoring relationships. By the positive impact of these friendships, children with a Big Brother or Big Sister are more likely to graduate from high school and are less likely to begin using drugs, begin using alcohol or engage in negative conflict.

I would love to have the opportunity, To help and listen to a children who feels like they have no one to talk to. When I was younger know one took the time to actually talk to me about my life and what was actually going on. I feel like I could help someone who feels the same way I did when I was younger. I feel like its my purpose to listen, help and learn from others. I have never volunteered before but I feel like this is the best way to start. I believe i can truly help this organization in so many ways Thank you for you for your time... Jailynn Warren
