Mission Statement

The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

Description

The March of Dimes has a proud history of volunteer-lead success in medical breakthroughs for infants and children. Our current focus is the Prematurity Campaign which is addressing the alarming rate of premature birth. Premature birth affects one in eight babies and in half of these cases there is no known cause. Premature babies often do not survive or may face life-long health consequences.
