The Mission of Bob Jones Nature Center Organization is to restore and preserve the Eastern Cross Timbers Ecosystem through environmental leadership, education and compatible outdoor activities.

Description

When you become a volunteer at Bob Jones Nature Center, you help our organization continue to be one of the best nature centers in the Metroplex. Each year, thousands of visitors come to experience the Nature Center’s spectacular programs, educational exhibits, and beautiful natural setting. Our volunteers play a large part in making the Nature Center such a unique and worthwhile place to visit and support our mission to restore and preserve the Eastern Cross Timbers Ecosystem through environmental leadership, education and compatible outdoor activities.

BJNC Volunteers receive:

- Free email updates to keep up-to-date with current events and volunteer opportunities
- An invitation to the Annual Volunteer Recognition Party
- Receive recognition awards for 50 and 100 hours of service during the Annual Volunteer Recognition Party
- Chance to become Volunteer of the Month, as highlighted in an email blast to Volunteers and Members
- Opportunities to meet new people
- Opportunities to attend educational programs
