Guardians For Animals

This group and especially Alex have been a life saver for a special dog in my neighborhood. My neighbors recently took their beautiful 1 year old rotti to the Auburn Rd animal shelter. they could'nt take care of him (young children, both parents working etc). They told the shelter that the dog was a stray that they picked up. Needless to say, he was quarantined and probably would have been euthanized. I did'nt know what to do and was telling the story to our own wonderful dog trainer and she knew exactly what to do...she whipped out her cell phone, explained the situation to alex who took over and really went to bat for this helpless animal. I understand that a foster home was found and at least he will be given second chance. This would not have happened without such caring people (Donna and Alex)! This is a great organization and i will be putting my money where my mouth is $$$. Thank you again for such a wonderful group of people. Best wishes, Colleen
