Mission Statement

PPSM’s mission is to engage Minnesota parents and professionals in promoting optimal emotional well-being during pregnancy and the postpartum period. We affirm the vision of Postpartum Support International (PSI) "to establish a perinatal support network in every community worldwide." Pregnancy and Postpartum Support Minnesota wants the experience of parenting to be enjoyable and healthy for women and men. In the years to come, we plan to educate providers and the public about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, to support parents and perinatal professionals, and to provide advocacy in the public arena.
