More than just another store, the Old Bakery and Emporium: a. offers people fifty years and over opportunities to supplement their incomes and to develop second careers b. offers people of all ages opportunities for meaningful volunteer service c. provides information and a warm sense of welcome to out of town visitors d. encourages the appreciation and perpetuation of heritage handcraft skills

Description

We are run by the City of Austin to help Senior Citizens supplement their income by selling their handmade crafts or artwork in exchange for volunteering 8 hours a month. There is no charge to rent space, simply volunteering does the trick. But you do not have to consign in order to volunteer, anyone can volunteer. Some of our best volunteers do not consign. Support Senior Citizens shop or volunteer at the Old Bakery
