Mission Statement

Our mission is the prevention of domestic violence and promotion of healthier lifestyles through education and awareness of options. We want to be a conduit for resources to empower and enable victims and perpetrators to finally find a way out of the vicious circle of abuse. We will work with communities not well served with a special focus on the Muslim and inter-faith communities.

Description

We have a toll free helpline for everyone.

We are facilitators of the Faith in Violence Free Families workshops - domestic abuse prevention geared towards faith leaders advocates.

We have collaborating with three other orgs. to establish a life skills/empowerment program primarily for women.

We would like to have focus/support groups for men as well.

We also do outreach at community events

We hold an annual essay contest to provide an opportuntiy for children to think creatively about life issus.
