Mission Statement

Josh and Gus's Run For a Reason was created to raise awareness and funds for the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) Program. The CJ Foundation for SIDS is the parent organization for the SUDC Program.

Description

Josh and Gus were 15- and 18-month-old happy, healthy toddlers who mysteriously died in their sleep in 2003. Their deaths were ruled SUDC, a cousin of SIDS that affects children after their first birthday. Their parents have joined together to create a huge, family-focused event to raise funds and awareness for SUDC. Please help us prevent this tragedy by attending the3rd Annual Josh and Gus's Run for a Reason: Saturday, September 23, Clement Park in Littleton. Registration and Kid's Carnival Activities begin at 8:30, 5K Run on a USATF-certified course starts at 10:00, and 2K Family Fun Walk starts at 10:30. Food, live music and entertainment, magic show and Silent Auction follow. Proceeds benefit SUDC (Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood) Program. $20 before September 8, $25 after September 8 and on race day, kids 10 and under are free!
