Mission Statement

The goals of service shall be to provide psychological and educational counseling to enable families and youth to successfully accomplish the tasks of family and individual development and to become functional in their private lives and as members of the community. The objectives designed to meet these goals include broadening behavioral options and choice of youth and families, increasing positive family and peer interaction, and providing highly trained staff to deliver counseling services.

Description

Youth Contact runs the Hillsboro Family Resource Center which has a food pantry, clothes closet and other essentials for families in need. It also has parenting and ESL classes, as well as information and referral services. In the summer the HFRC has a lunch, reading and recreation program for kids. They also sponsor a school supplies giveaway in August as well as a monthly dental van.
