Solarization Welfare Organization (SWO) is a youth NGO working on sustainable environment and alternate energy specifically on solar energy.

1 in 4 people on this planet, including many Pakistanis living in rural areas, do not have access to electricity. The lack of access to electricity inhibits their economic development. Electricity can power their mobile phones, light their homes, and pump up water for irrigation. Renewable energy provides an affordable and eco-friendly way to improve their lives.
We plan to provide clean electricity to the rural areas of Pakistan utilizing the abundant Solar Energy resources to give them an opportunity to grow and prosper.

What We Do......
Illumination for Hope | Project for underprivileged students
Illumination for Hope is SWO’s latest campaign designed to help those in need. The basic premise is simple- education is a must for our country to prosper, and it is a must for everyone.
However, thanks to electricity shortages, students in rural areas often face difficulties in their educational progress. We plan to help ease their hardships with the help of this:
We shall target the students of the rural area of interior Sindh , and provide them with free solar lamps that will enable them to study regardless of any power cuts.
Spreading clean light to improve education...
The curse of load shedding will not be problem anymore for the students that cause hampering in their studies after evening hours.
Solarization Welfare Organization (SWO) with its collaborative partner Akbar Development Organization (ADO) under Illumination for Hope (IFH) project aims to empower the suffering youth of Pakistan, helping them to equip with the means to struggle against their fate.
We bring Inter-Shikarpur Essay Competition for underprivilege students of grade 9th and 10th in Shikarpur region . SWO will give solar study lights to 100 successful candidates with the objective of providing hope in distressed children and letting them to get rid from the bearing the pain during power outages.
Competition is open to three languages including English, Urdu and Sindhi.
students will be asked to write essay on any of these languges on the day of competition..

Green Future School Campaign
World is advancing in technology day by day but along with that the realization to preserve environment is increasing as well. Society plays an important role in protecting our environment but if the society is not well-informed then such measures will not be taken. If a child is introduced to terminologies like natural environment, conserving our surrounding, powering our country from regenerating sources and making them understand that there is a way to make positive changes in Pakistan since young age, then by the time he will be a young adult and step into career building, will be well aware of environmental impacts and resolutions for that.

This is the right time to up bring our children to choose and think what is good for their future because if we delay it today, it may not impact us with that high intensity but will definitely to our future generations.
Solarization Welfare Organization (SWO) is starting an awareness program for schools under the name of "Green Future School Campaign" to educate the children about "Energy Conservation and Solar Energy."
We intend to target maximum schools of Karachi. We want the support from the youth of Pakistan, so step ahead join us for the Noble Cause!
