Americare Hospice & Palliative Care is a Catholic Hospice approved by the Catholic Diocese of Phoenix. We are owned and locally operated by a Catholic family of Registered Nurses. We believe human life is sacred for every person, at every moment. We serve patients and families of all faiths but we operate under the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic health care services. Along with end of life care, we provide to our Catholic patients a Catholic Priest for Sacraments, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Rosary. All of our patients may receive Spiritual Ministry including bedside prayers. We are medicare certified and service the entire Phoenix metro area. We believe patients have the right to choose their Hospice provider.

Our comprehensive hospice services include: pain and symptom management; home visiting physicians; skilled hospice and palliative care nurses; spiritual, grief and bereavement counselors; licensed clinical social workers; hospice certified nursing assistants; specially trained volunteers; medications, medical equipment and medical supplies; In-Patient Unit for medical crisis; respite for caregiver support; registered dieticians; pet and music therapy; 9-week Grief Recovery Outreach Program; physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy; 24-hour availability; Senior placement services.
